Green Tourism – Gold
In January 2023, we were awarded a Green Tourism Gold award for our commitment to sustainability. As part of the process, we are required to track, report, and set goals helping to reduce our negative impacts. Becoming certified if an important way of promoting our sustainability progress in a transparent way.
One of the main reasons for us achieving the gold award, is due to our eco office space, which was bought in 2010. Find out more here.
The Glasgow Declaration / Our Climate Action Plan
In 2022 we became a both a signatory a member of the working group for the Glasgow Declaration. It was established to join togather different stakeholders within the tourism industry, with the desired end goal of reaching net zero as soon as possible before 2030.
As part of the commitment, we have published our 2023, Climate Action Plan. This plan lays out key areas where we, as a business are working to reduce our impacts on the environment. At the end of this year, we aim to report transparently on our progress, and using this data helping to set goals for the year ahead.
