Ministries of Tourism

Tourism Ministries have employed us to develop Tourism Satellite Accounts (TSAs), tourism statistics development programmes and international visitor surveys in countries such as Albania, Botswana, Libya, the Punjab, Rwanda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Supreme Commission of Tourism in Saudi Arabia asked Acorn to set up a Tourism Market Research Unit, and Statistics South Africa used Acorn’s expertise to advise them on setting up their first domestic visitor survey. Training local staff to continue these activities is key to ensuring the sustainability of these projects.

T-Stats has transformed the way we collect, process and disseminate tourism statistics in Botswana. We are delighted with the system and would highly recommend it to other National Tourism Departments or any other body responsible for tourism statistics collection, processing and dissemination”.

Temalo Maggie Lesetlhe, Head of Research and Statistics, Department of Tourism, Botswana.
